The Bungalow

We've designed the Bungalow to be the quintessential Gingerbread Cottage. Its a "one room" cottage with everything you need in the one room. The only exception is the full bathroom which, of course is separate. The classic style is reinforced with a brand new classic style Stove/Oven and a brand new classic style Heater. For added ambience we also have a beautiful authentic looking electric heat fireplace. Its really hard to tell its not real. The living room is very quaint and inviting. Also, there is a restored antique refrigerator. Other accents include a stained glass chandelier over the small round kitchen table. The bungalow is in a very quiet setting and very private (although there are odd visitors from time to time ) Ultimate relaxation is guaranteed with the King Size bed and big screen surround sound entertainment. The bungalow has some beautiful paintings and an original Stained Glass window installed in the South Wall that speaks for itself. In addition there is a beautiful hand crafted linen chest. There is an old weather upright piano on the back deck to give a little extra rustic effect. The hot tub also affords a view of the valley below. To get to the Hot tub there is a stone spiral staircase to the clearing below where the waterfall ends. For extra privacy you can use a remote control to turn on and off the lights that light the way down to the hot tub. What could be more romantic and private than sitting in a hot tub with nothing but stars above and the sound of a waterfall off to the side. There is a quaint porthole installed in the north wall that has a cute little wooden figure blessing the bungalow. We found the statue in the forest and gave him a special place. The kitchen, eating area, living area, and sitting area are all designed to make couples feel like they don't have to go anywhere. They can just be cozy and enjoy each other in a very unique environment.

The bungalow is a retreat for couples or for singles who need to get away to a cozy place in the forest where the only sounds are the sounds of whispering trees and singing birds. The Bungalow offers total privacy in the Santa Cruz mountains yet it is 10 minutes from the Corralitos Market and 15 minutes from the nearest beaches. It is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including surround sound entertainment. The style of the Bungalow harkens however to simpler times with an antique styled heater and Oven as well as Country style curtains, bedding and furniture. In addition there are beautiful paintings on the walls and plush carpeting. Come to the bungalow to see how good it feels to surround yourself in total peace and comfort.
